The Department of Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System and “The Employment Guide” are sponsoring the job fair at The Center (42nd and Center streets) on the second floor public area.
Veterans are encouraged to come with polished resumes in hand and dressed for an interview with recruiters from companies including InfoUSA, Union Pacific, ConAgra Foods, West Corporation, Hyatt Reservations, Gallup, Henry Doorly Zoo, Hilton Hotels, SITEL, and many more. Company recruiters will meet with veterans to provide company employment information and many will conduct on-the-spot interviews.
In addition, other career search services are available including free professional resume critiques. Free copies of “The Veteran Transition to Work Guide” and the “Job Seeker Survival Guide” will be available.
